Asalaamu alaikum,

I don’t remember exactly how I found out about Mommy Too! magazine, but I’ve been getting it delivered to my inbox for quite some time. Let’s take a look at what we can learn.

Mommy Too! magazine is marketed towards a specific audience, which is helpful for those who want to learn about niche marketing, targeting marketing and target audience.

But more than that, the magazine simply has some useful reading.

Now, lets get back to why I brought up Mommy Too!. In this month’s section (July ‘06) of Please visit our newest advertisers there is s a company named Curls featuring a simple but catchy description that says: Longing for lavish curls? Superb Hair Care for Multi Ethnic Women. Experience the CURLS Difference.

Something about that word “Multi Ethnic Women” caught my eye. But that is because it is supposed to. That’s good marketing.

Now, if we focus on this company we can learn something very important. The company has certainly found a niche-market ! I will leave it up to you to find out just what that niche is. You can post what you think CurlyQ’s niche market is all about. And while you are at it, tell me who is the audience for Mommy Too! magazine.
